Ms. Trillas graduated from Hialeah-Miami Lakes Senior High School in 1999. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations degree, with a concentration in Latin America and Caribbean Studies, and a certificate in Cuban-American studies, from Florida International University.
Upon graduation, she joined the Masters program at St. Thomas University. While attending St. Thomas, she had the opportunity to study abroad in Eastern Europe were she focused on Human Rights and Non-violent Conflict Resolution. Ms. Trillas will receive her Masters of Science in Management in 2008.
