Ms. Luther engages in trial and appellate practice in the state and federal courts throughout Florida. Ms. Luther received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Duke University in 1986. She attended law school at the University of Miami School of Law and received her Juris Doctor cum laude in 1990. She was the first associate hired by Clarke & Silverglate, P.A. in 1994. She became a partner with the firm in January 2000.
Ms. Luther served as trial counsel for Liggett Group Inc. and Brooke Group Holding, Ltd. in two landmark class action trials in Miami-Dade County, Florida: Broin v. R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, et al. (flight attendant secondhand smoke case) and Engle v. Philip Morris Incorporated, et al. (direct smoking case).
